MCP Integration New
Connect your AI assistant to RespectASO and do App Store Optimization through natural conversation.
What is MCP?
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that lets AI assistants connect to external tools. RespectASO includes a built-in MCP server that exposes 19 ASO tools — so you can ask your AI assistant to research keywords, analyze competitors, and optimize metadata, all through natural language.
Instead of switching between apps, you stay in your AI assistant and describe what you need. RespectASO handles the rest.
Why use MCP with RespectASO?
- No context switching — research keywords, analyze competitors, and validate metadata without leaving your AI assistant
- Natural language — ask questions like "find the best countries for my fitness app" instead of clicking through menus
- Iterative refinement — your AI remembers the conversation. Ask follow-up questions, refine results, adjust your strategy — like working with an ASO consultant
- Fully private — the MCP server runs locally on your Mac. No cloud, no network connections, no data leaves your machine
- 19 tools in one conversation — combine keyword research, opportunity scanning, competitor analysis, and metadata validation in a single workflow
Supported AI assistants
RespectASO's MCP server works with any AI assistant that supports the Model Context Protocol:
Claude Desktop
Add to ~/.claude/claude_desktop_config.json:

"command": "/Applications/RespectASO.app/Contents/MacOS/respectaso-mcp"
}
}
}
Cursor
Add to your Cursor MCP settings:
{

"command": "/Applications/RespectASO.app/Contents/MacOS/respectaso-mcp"
}
}
}
VS Code (GitHub Copilot)
Add to your VS Code MCP configuration:
{
"mcpServers": {
"respectaso": {
"command": "/Applications/RespectASO.app/Contents/MacOS/respectaso-mcp"

Windsurf & other MCP clients
Any MCP-compatible client works with the same command path. Check your client's documentation for where to add MCP server configurations.

- Start asking — open your AI assistant and ask it to research keywords, analyze competitors, or validate your metadata
That's it. No additional setup, no API keys for the free tools, no cloud accounts.
What you can ask your AI assistant
Once connected, you can talk to your AI assistant naturally. Here are some examples:
Keyword research (Free)
"Search for 'meditation app' in the US App Store. Show me the difficulty and who's ranking for it."
Multi-country opportunity (Free)
"Which countries have the best opportunity for 'fitness tracker'? Find the markets where competition is low but demand is high."
Competitor analysis (Pro)
"Analyze Headspace's App Store listing. What keywords are they targeting and where are they weak?"
Metadata optimization (Pro)
"Here's my app title and subtitle. Validate them against App Store rules, then score each keyword for popularity and difficulty."
Full ASO workflow (Pro)
"Research the 'habit tracker' niche for the US market. Then take the best keywords and simulate an ASO score for my proposed metadata."
Your AI assistant handles the tool calls, waits for background operations to complete, and presents the results in a readable format — all within a single conversation.
