Rival Tracker Pro

Your app against up to 10 rivals in up to 3 countries, every day, with 13 months of history.

Requires: a valid Pro license and your app on the App Store (add it on the Apps tab). The weekly summary of rivals' complaints and Suggest keywords also need an AI provider: your own API key or Local AI.

Set it up in one screen

  • Countries: up to 3. Keywords are followed per country.
  • Keywords: pick them from Tracked Keywords, type them, or press Suggest keywords. Your AI provider suggests them from your app's title, subtitle and keyword field, each scored with App Store data; up to 10 with real demand, where your app or a rival already ranks, are added and the rest stay one click away. Apple does not share your subtitle or keyword field, so you type them once and RespectASO remembers them.
  • Rivals: up to 10. Ideas come from the apps that sit in the top 10 of your keywords and from apps you studied with the AI Competitor; any App Store app can be added by name or link.

A followed keyword is one of your app's tracked keywords, so it shows on the Keywords page too. In Tracked Keywords you can also select rows and choose Add to Rival Tracker.

What the page shows

  • Since yesterday: what crossed a threshold, in plain words: an app entering or leaving the top 10, your app falling 5 places or more, a new app entering the top 10 (one click adds it as a rival), a rival's App Store update, or a jump in new ratings.
  • Keywords: where your app and each rival rank today on every followed keyword, with the change since the day before. Click a keyword for every app's rank over 30 days, 90 days or 13 months.
  • Ratings: each app's ratings in that country, new ratings this week and the average. New ratings are the closest public sign of which app is gaining users.
  • What their users complain about: once a week your AI provider sums up the rivals' newest reviews rated 1 to 3 stars: the complaints your app could answer.
  • App Store updates: click a rival to see what it changed and when: title, icon, screenshots, description, version and release notes, price.

When it checks

RespectASO runs on your Mac, so it checks while the app runs. It keeps running in the menu bar when you close the window, and it can open at login (Settings, Mac App). A day the Mac was off stays empty in the history rather than guessed.

Notifications

In the Mac app, turn on Rival Tracker notifications in Settings, Mac App: once a day, when something crosses a threshold, a Mac notification says what happened.

From your AI assistant

Seven MCP tools give your assistant the same Rival Tracker: the report and a keyword's rank history, adding or removing rivals and keywords, and keyword suggestions.

What it does not do

  • No download or revenue estimates for rivals: those need paid panel data that no public source offers. Growth in ratings is the honest stand-in.
  • No subtitle or promotional text for rivals: Apple's public data does not include them.
  • Answering your own reviews is not part of Rival Tracker.
